DAN'S BIO

Dan Cole is a guitarist based in the North West of England. Since picking up the instrument in 2008, his dedication has seen him session for multiple musicians from around his local area as well as being a composer and member of his own bands.

Dan started gigging within the first year of playing and by age 15 he had recorded and released his first EP with his band, Araxa, alongside this he had also performed around many venues around Manchester. Dan has performed in a wide range on ensembles including string orchestras through to metal bands.

As of 2012, Dan has been writing his own instrumental music which includes ambient, post-rock influences, as well as wide variety of metal and it's sub genres. His debut solo EP is set to drop in December of 2016.

​

Since leaving Araxa in 2014, he has featured on 2 artists releases as a guest musician, as well as continuing to be apart of local music events not only as a musician, but also as a live sound engineer.

Dan is currently playing with Kira Mac as her guitarist as well as being the sole member in instrumental Pro Metal/Post-rock band Fractures in the Sky.
